Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney
CAUTION

Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Allermax Plus Tablet
Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of nasal allergy symptoms.

How to use Allermax Plus Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet works
Allermax Plus 10 mg/120 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Montelukast and Fexofenadine which decrease the frequency of asthma attacks and relieve the symptoms of allergies. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose, and improves your symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which treats allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Skin rash, Flu-like symptoms, Headache, Drowsiness, Dizziness.
